Who stands behind the content

polyamorio.com is an independent editorial project. We do not claim any professional credentials—nobody on the site holds themselves out as a therapist, doctor, lawyer or academic expert. The site offers free educational information about polyamory, open relationships, swinging and other forms of consensual non-monogamy, but it does not give medical, legal or psychological advice. If you need personalised guidance, please consult a qualified professional.

The polyamorio.com editorial team runs the site. We do not describe individual members, because the project is not built around named writers, researchers or editors. Instead, we rely on a transparent, automated process to create and check every article.

How articles are drafted

Articles are drafted with the help of an AI language model. The model works from facts extracted from public, reputable sources: Wikipedia articles, peer-reviewed study abstracts indexed on PubMed, pages from health organisations such as the NHS and Planned Parenthood, and community resources like the More Than Two glossary and Psychology Today.

Every article lists its sources with links at the end and cites them inline as [1], [2]. This lets you see exactly where each factual claim comes from and verify it yourself.

Automated checks before publication

Publication is automated: there is no person-by-person manual or human review of each article before it goes live. Quality is enforced by a set of automated checks that run on every draft. A draft is not published unless it passes all of them.

The checks require at least three distinct sources. Every number stated in the article must come from a cited source. The draft must not contain long quotations from the sources, and its wording must have low overlap with the source texts to avoid plagiarism. It must meet a minimum length and must not duplicate an article already on the site. Drafts that fail any of these checks are not published.

How we handle errors

Even with these checks, mistakes can slip through. If you spot an error, please email menotebo@gmail.com. We review every report we receive, and when a correction is needed we update the article and add a new “Updated” date. This way, readers can see that the page has been revised.

A note on privacy and funding

polyamorio.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts and carries no advertising trackers. There are no user accounts and no comments, so we do not collect personal information. The web server keeps standard technical access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) for security and operations. Emails sent to the contact address are used only to reply.

The site is supported by recommending swingplace.net, a dating community for couples and singles in the lifestyle. Those links are marked as partner links and carry UTM parameters that tell swingplace.net the visit came from polyamorio.com. Some articles also link to two adult (18+) video sites in the same network, swingrio.com and threesomio.com; these links are clearly marked as 18+. No other funding or sponsorship is involved.
