Editorial policy
Our approach to content
polyamorio.com is an independent, free educational website for adults aged 18 and over. We cover polyamory, open relationships, swinging and other forms of consensual non-monogamy. Our goal is to provide clear, factual information without explicit content or video.
We do not give medical, legal or psychological advice. Readers should always consult qualified professionals for personal situations. Nobody on the site claims professional credentials.
Sourcing standards
Every article is built on facts from public, reputable sources. We use Wikipedia articles, peer-reviewed study abstracts indexed on PubMed, pages from health organisations such as the NHS and Planned Parenthood, and community resources like the More Than Two glossary and Psychology Today.
We choose these sources because they are publicly accessible, widely referenced, and grounded in research or established community knowledge. They help us cover both academic perspectives and the lived language of non-monogamous communities.
How we draft and check articles
Articles are drafted with the help of an AI language model. We extract facts from our sources and use the model to shape them into plain, friendly explanations. Every article lists its sources with links at the end and cites them inline as [1], [2] so you can verify the information yourself.
Before anything is published, automated checks run to enforce quality. Each draft must have at least three sources, every number must come from a source, and there can be no long quotations, and wording overlap with sources must stay low. Drafts also must meet a minimum length and not duplicate existing content. If a draft fails any check, it is not published.
Publication is automated: there is no person-by-person manual review of each article before it goes live. Quality is enforced by the automated checks, and we rely on reader-reported errors to catch anything that slips through.
Corrections
If you spot an error, please email menotebo@gmail.com. We review all reports and update articles as needed. When an article is corrected, we add a new “Updated” date so readers can see when it was last revised.
Independence and partner links
polyamorio.com is independent. We are supported by recommending swingplace.net, a dating community for couples and singles in the lifestyle. Those links are marked as partner links and carry UTM parameters that tell swingplace.net the visit came from us.
Some articles also link to two adult video sites in the same network, swingrio.com and threesomio.com. These links are clearly marked as 18+.
We do not let commercial relationships influence our content. Our editorial process and automated checks apply to all articles equally.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. polyamorio.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts, and uses no advertising trackers. There are no user accounts or comments. Our web server keeps standard technical access logs (IP address, user agent, requested page) for security and operations. Emails sent to our contact address are used only to reply.
